Noise — Original Calligraphy on Rice Paper
Noise — Original Calligraphy on Rice Paper
Noise is inspired by the inner struggles of ADHD, and attempts to make the unseen seen. Within an ADHD mind, ideas don’t always stay in line; they overlap, collide, and merge into noise — like strands of light entangled and trapped inside a dark chamber. In this heartwork, layers of tangled Qi — handwritten words in black Sumi ink, “Holy Fire, All Hearts Welcome” — bring the hidden struggles of a blurred mind out into the open, accepting field of white Xuan paper. The piece is signed with my Golden Path Assassin seal in red ink, symbolizing Shén (Chinese for Spirit or God) quietly witnessing in silence.
